Yesterday was the Rockstar Mayhem Festival at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater.
I went with my BFF Chele...
and my awesome boyfriend Josh.
We started out on the lawn, but, as they often do at this venue when a show hasn't sold out, the upgraded random people from the lawn to seating. We ended up in the far-left-back section, but we had a really good view of the stage.
The stage from the lawn:
Bullet For My Valentine:
Killswitch Engage:
Slayer:
Marilyn Manson!
Manson played a disappointingly short set. I think it felt shorter than it actually was though. He also wasn't sounding that great. Well, the screaming did, and there was much epic Manson screaming. His singing however, not so much. But this was my first time ever seeing him, so I didn't really care that much.
Here's what all he played, although this isn't anywhere near the order they were played in:
We're From America
Little Horn
Disposable Teens
Irresponsible Hate Anthem
Tourniquet
Sweet Dreams
The Fight Song
Dope Show
Rock Is Dead
The Beautiful People
OK, actually, 10 songs isn't bad. But with his catalogue, he could've played much longer.
